Village Property for Sale





The Village of Glendon is offering a parcel of commercial municipally owned property for sale by sealed offers.


The property being offered for sale is located at 5014 Railway Avenue in Glendon, Alberta.  Legal Description: Lot: Pt 3; Block 4; Plan 2812ET.


The property is being offered for sale on the following conditions:

  • Development must be completed and business operating within two (2) years from the date of purchase.
  • If purchaser fails to complete development and have a business operating within the two (2) year time frame the title of the property will revert back to the Village of Glendon and purchaser will forfeit the purchase price of the property and the cost of any and all improvements made to the property.
  • Offers containing conditions and terms such as subject to financing will be accepted.


Interested parties are asked to submit a sealed offer containing the offer price, brief description of the proposed business venture, which will be held in the strictest confidence, and any terms or conditions they may have in writing to The Village of Glendon, Attention: CAO – Property Offer, Box 177, Glendon, AB T0A 1P0.


Sealed offers will be accepted until 4:00 PM February 16, 2018.


Sealed offers will be opened on February 21, 2018 at 7:30 PM in Council Chambers at the Village Office located at 5306 Railway Avenue.  Interested parties are encouraged to attend the opening of offers.  Offer prices and conditions will be public knowledge, however; information regarding proposed business ventures will be confidential and not released to the public.


The highest offer may not necessarily be accepted and the Village of Glendon reserves the right to refuse any and all offers.
